The Waynesboro Rotary Club supports our community in many ways. One of those ways is through grants to local non-profits that are making Waynesboro a great place to live!

2024-2025 Community Grant awards ANNOUNCED!

In honor of our centennial year, Rotary Club of Waynesboro will give out more than $50,000 in community grants. After a call for applications and a thorough review process, the club voted to fund $50,465 of community grants to 20 local organizations. Organizations receiving grants are:

  • The Arc of Augusta

  • Augusta County Railroad Museum

  • Augusta Regional Dental Clinic

  • Bat Conversation and Rescue of Virginia

  • Blue Ridge CASA

  • Boys and Girls Club of Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta County

  • Creative Works Farms/Camp LIGHT

  • Elk Hill

  • Embrace

  • The Free Book Bus

  • HERO- Housing Emergency Relief Organization

  • LEARN English and Reading Now

  • LIFEworks Project

  • The Neighbor Bridge

  • RISE

  • Sin Barreras

  • Valley Children’s Advocacy Center

  • Valley Pastoral Counseling Center

  • Wayne Theatre

  • Waynesboro Family YMCA

Applications open September 26, 2024, and are due by October 27, 2024. Nonprofit organizations that serve the Waynesboro and/or East Augusta County area are encouraged to apply, specifically organizations whose mission falls within Rotary International’s 7 areas of focus and our local Club’s specific community focus:

  1. Peace & Conflict Resolution

  2. Disease Prevention and Treatment

  3. Water and Sanitation

  4. Maternal and Child Health

  5. Basic Education and Literacy

  6. Environment

  7. Economic & Community Development
